Principal News
Introduction
I am so privileged to have been appointed as the new Principal of Robertson State School. Robertson is an amazing school with an outstanding reputation within the Education Community. I would like to acknowledge the hard work over many years of Ms Margaret Berry, the leadership teams, the incredible teachers and staff, our awesome students, parents and community. Great schools don’t just happen, it takes a team to make this such a great school, a team where every member pulls in the same direction.
I have a genuine passion for working with students and families, to support and encourage them to attain the very best outcomes. My vision for all students is to grow up having, “a life of choice not chance”. I want our young champions to “Dream and Believe”. I am really looking forward to the years ahead working with you all.
I have two beautiful children, Abbie in Year 12 and Declan in Year 11, at Mansfield State High School. I also have a passion for sport and music, being an Elite Level Touch Football Coach - coaching for the University of Queensland. I have also been fortunate to have had the opportunity to grow up learning to play four musical instruments.
Robertson State School has an outstanding reputation, an extremely high performing school with a supportive community. I am really excited about the development of our Indoor Multi-purpose Activity Centre. I will be meeting with Mr Peter Russo (MP) this week to discuss further funding opportunities.
If you can donate to our building fund for this project, please contact the office. Thank you to all members of our community who have already donated.
I look forward to learning from the amazing students, staff and parents. Please don’t hesitate to drop in and say hello.
