Avoid Early Pick-Ups After 2:45 PM
We kindly ask that you do not collect your child early after 2.45pm. The final school bell rings at 3.00 PM, and the last 15 minutes of the day are important for wrapping up learning, preparing for home, and ensuring a calm and safe dismissal.
If your child has an appointment or needs to leave early, please try to schedule it outside of school hours whenever possible. We understand that sometimes early pick-ups are unavoidable, however minimising them helps reduce disruptions for both your child and their classmates.
Should an early departure be required, please notify the school office in advance through phone or email as early as possible. This allows us to prepare your child and ensure a smooth transition.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued support in helping us maintain a focused and productive learning environment right up to the end of the school day.

Early Holidays
As we make our way through Week 4, we want to touch base with families who may be planning an early holiday or have other reasons for extended absences. With the Christmas holidays right around the corner, we know it’s a time when many families take advantage of the break to travel or spend quality time together.
.
Here’s What You Need to Know:
If your child will be absent for more than 10 consecutive school days, you will need to complete an exemption form. This is important for ensuring that your child is meeting attendance requirements and supporting your child’s education while they’re away.

How to Apply
- In Person: If you prefer, stop by the office and we’ll be happy to provide you with a paper copy to fill out.

Looking Ahead to Christmas Holidays
As we approach the Christmas holidays, we know many families take the opportunity to spend time together. While we encourage you to make family time a priority, we also want to remind you that any planned absences during school time (other than illness) will need an exemption request.
Please keep in mind that absences can have an impact on your child’s learning, especially as we finish up key units of study. We’ll work with you to make sure your child doesn’t miss out on anything important, but we ask that you submit the exemption form before you go.
Thank you for being such a vital part of our school community. We appreciate your cooperation, and we’re excited to continue working together as we head towards the holiday season!
