Prep - Year 2 Deputy Principal
Pre Prep 2026 Transition Program
.
A Wonderful Start for Our Future Preppies
We have been delighted to welcome our incoming Pre Prep 2026 children and families to a range of transition experiences that help build confidence, familiarity and excitement for the beginning of school next year. These activities have focused on creating strong connections between students, families and staff while also helping children become familiar with our learning environment.

Prep Orientation
29 October 2025
Our Prep Orientation morning was held on Wednesday 29 October and it was fantastic to see so many enthusiastic children ready to explore their new school.
During this session, parents and carers attended an information talk in the hall where they heard more about school routines, curriculum learning, uniforms and tips for a smooth start to Prep. At the same time, children visited the Prep classrooms where they took part in play based learning, explored classroom resources and enjoyed time with their future teachers and teacher aides. Families were provided with important enrolment information and key upcoming preparation dates.
We hope the session has left families feeling assured and excited about the transition ahead.

Pre Prep Playgroup
Every Wednesday morning our Pre Prep Playgroup has been filled with curious minds and happy smiles. These sessions give children the opportunity to become familiar with classrooms and play areas while building friendships with others who will also be starting Prep in 2026.
Children take part in early literacy and numeracy activities, creative and imaginative play, music, fine and gross motor tasks and story time. It is also a wonderful chance for families to meet each other and connect with our staff. Our teachers and teacher aides enjoy learning about each child’s personality, interests and learning style which supports a positive transition into school life.
We are so proud of how confident and settled our future Preppies are becoming each week.

Thank You to Our Families
We sincerely appreciate the commitment and involvement of our parents and carers throughout this transition period. Working together ensures every child enjoys a strong and supported start to their schooling.
We are very much looking forward to continuing this exciting journey with our 2026 Preppies. If you have any questions about enrolment or upcoming transition activities, please contact the school office and we will be happy to assist.
