2025 – Week 6 Term 4
World Teachers’ Day – Friday 31 October 2025
I would like to thank my incredible teaching staff and acknowledge the significant contribution they make to the lives of our students and the community. I want to extend my most sincere gratitude to our amazing teachers as we celebrate World Teachers' Day tomorrow.
This is a day to formally recognise the extraordinary effort, dedication, and passion that the teaching staff at Robertson State School bring to their classrooms every single day.
Our teachers are much more than just educators; they are:
- Mentors who guide our children through challenges.
- Inspirers who spark curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
- Role Models who instil the values and compassion that shape our future citizens.
They work tirelessly, planning engaging lessons, adapting to individual student needs, and fostering a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for every child. The success and well-being of our students are a direct reflection of their commitment and expertise.
If you have a moment this week, please join us in thanking your child's teacher, and all our teaching staff, for the profound and lasting impact they have on the lives of our children. Thank you for your ongoing support of our teachers and our school.
Happy World Teachers' Day to all our phenomenal educators!

Day for Daniel - Friday 31 October
Our school is participating in Day for Daniel on Friday 31 October. Students are encouraged to wear a splash of red to raise awareness for child safety. This could be a red t-shirt with school shorts, red shorts with a school shirt, a red hat, red shoes, or another combination featuring red.
It’s important to educate children about personal safety, help them identify unsafe situations, teach them to react and empower them to report abuse and seek help.
As part of Day for Daniel, our school will also participate in Australia’s Biggest Child Safety Lesson. This year the lesson focuses on creating safer online and offline environments for children.
