Robertson Chess Club

Does your child have a passion for pawns or a craving for checkmates? Students who are interested in learning and playing chess are invited to join the Robertson Chess Club.

When: Fridays - Second Break (1:30pm – 2:00pm)

Where: Library

Whether they’re a beginner or a seasoned player, everyone is welcome. Throughout the term, students will have the opportunity to build their skills, challenge their peers, and enjoy the game.

Each term, a Robertson Chess Team will be selected to compete in an Inter-school Chess Competition at a partnering school.

Selection is based on:

• Attendance at Chess Club
• Previous competition experience
• Chess ability
• Behaviour and sportsmanship
