Prep Vision Screening
We are pleased to inform you that Queensland Health will be conducting free vision screening for all Prep students at Robertson State School on Thursday 20 August and Friday 21 August 2025.
This important program helps identify children who may have vision issues that could impact their learning and development. The screening is quick, non-invasive, and will be carried out by trained health professionals during school hours.

They may also suffer from sore eyes, headaches and fatigue.
Even if your child has already completed their 4 to 5 year development check, we strongly recommend participating in this screening. The specialised vision screener used in this program can detect problems that may be missed in standard health checks.

What you need to do:
Attached to this email are two information flyers along with a QR code to register your child for the free screening. These QR codes are also located on posters outside your child's prep classroom. Please review the flyers and ensure the consent form is completed by Friday 6 June 2025.
